When I first started, it was a bit of a struggle to organize myself. My first website took ages to launch and while the other ones went up quickly, my family went days without seeing me. Let’s be frank, if you don’t set up your business properly right at the beginning, you’re going to make your life much harder—and your income much lower. The problem is that until now, you’ve always thought of your home as a place to relax and the office as a place to focus and work. Now you’re going to have to focus at home—and that’s not an easy shift to make. You need to keep the same rhythm (without stopping to watch your favorite daytime soap!) and the same kind of discipline you had when you had to commute every morning. The first thing to do is to give yourself an office. I’m not talking about a laptop on the coffee table or a corner in the library; I mean a proper room with a door you can close and a desk full of goodies: from a computer with broadband to a place to put your safety clips. If you don’t have a spare room to start with, then use your bedroom. But if you’re serious, think about finding an office once your business gets running.The next thing you’re going to need is a schedule—a realistic one. This is one of the greatest challenges when you begin working for yourself. At the end of each day, I’d make a list of all the tasks I was going to do the next day. If I got half of them done, I was lucky. I spent weeks frustrated and grumpy.Once you get a feel for how long each task takes you, whether it’s approving a new site design, planning a new marketing program or answering customers’ emails, set yourself a timetable and keep to it. Turn off the radio, shut the office door and get to work! And at the same time, don’t get annoyed if the day ends before your work does.

St. Edwards University, Texas evacuated due to bomb threat
St. Edwards University in Austin has been evacuated after a non-specific bomb threat note was found by a staff member. Students are asked not to come on campus, and classes have been cancelled until 5 PM. This is according to a public relations officer for the school and the St. Edwards web site. Making Money With MySpace Marketing on Steroids
One of my subscribers / Friends in Malaysia has created a great all in one solution for marketing on sites like My Space. I have used lots of other software for this in the past and the greatest common denominator has been that there was always all these separate programs I had to run. I used Bandleader to add friends and this software only added friends. Buddy promoter, the new all in one software, has the feature for adding friends and it is so much faster. On a broadband connection I could send out 1,000 friend requests in less than 10 minuteI have used Space promoter to create identities but this is also one of the features of Buddy promoter. I had paid almost $300 for Space promoter and I thought I'd have to pay a similar price for Buddy Promoter. Space promoter, a US based company, was shut down by My Space and the same with Bandleader. Buddy promoter is a Malaysia based company and I don't think that the US has any real affiliation with Malaysia. I was also extremely impressed that Buddy promoter is less than half the cost of what I had paid for Space promoter.A great feature of Buddy promoter is the way it can chain accounts together when sending comments, bulletins, and friend requests. I also don't have to worry about it using the same IP address when logging into each account. My friend has sent me copies of some of the emails he has received from people who have bought this product and I was very impressed. My friend will have the software periodically updated with new features or improvements to existing features and one of the buyers said that he has already made over $1,000 with the first release and he didn't see any reason to update with all the other releases. I received like 3 updates to Buddy promoter in one week. Most software these days I am lucky to see an update like once every 3 or 4 months.My friend has told me that eventually the software will allow you to market on sites like Friends, Face book, and You Tube. I have always hated the fact that I needed so many different software programs to do the things I do. It is a breath of fresh air now to get so much from just one software application. I see so many advertisements on the site My Space but Buddy promoter is not a SPAM tool, it is software for ethical marketers to make a lot of money on sites like My Space.Go to the site by adding dot com to Buddy promoter and see for yourself. This is great software at a great price. Usually for any of the good programs I always have to save up my money and take money away from some other part of my budget but not with Buddy promoter.The only disadvantage I see is if you only want to market at a snails pace then this software is definitely not for you. This software will accelerate all your efforts so that you can start making money within hours of installing it on your computer. One of the greatest things that I see is the level of support and whenever I had a suggestion for a new feature I wanted to see and it was added in less than a week.Some of the only other disadvantages I can see are the fact that this one application does everything where there might be some people who like a separate application for everything they do. Plus the pricing may be too affordable. The best feature which no other software I've seen has is the chaining feature. You could create your own whore train if you wanted.
